we ask all families to follow these important guidelines.
To ensure a safe, disciplined, and spiritually uplifting environment, we ask all families to follow these important guidelines.
Attendance & Punctuality
-
School runs from 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM.
-
Students arriving after 8:20 AM will be marked late. Three late marks in a month will require a meeting with administration.
-
Please avoid scheduling appointments or trips during school hours, as lessons cannot be repeated individually
-
If your child is absent due to illness or emergency, provide a doctor’s note or a signed explanation from a parent/guardian
Dress Code
-
Students are encouraged to wear Islamic attire daily.
-
Clothing should reflect modesty and respect for the learning environment.
-
The school will soon be introducing a standard uniform. Once it is made available, all students will be required to wear the uniform every day. This will help promote equality, discipline, and a sense of unity within the school.
Facilities & Environment
-
Students should only use designated areas such as classrooms, lunchroom, musalla, and game room.
-
Running in hallways or entering restricted rooms is not permitted
-
Misuse of break time may result in loss of that privilege.
Behavior & Conduct
-
Students must show respect to teachers, supervisors, staff, and fellow students.
-
Disrespect, rudeness, or disruptive behavior will not be tolerated.
-
No cell phones are allowed during school hours.
-
Un-Islamic or inappropriate materials are strictly prohibited.
-
Any damage to school property due to carelessness will result in disciplinary action and parental involvement.
Education & Homework
-
Parents should ensure that children revise their Qur’an/Qaida and other school lessons daily.
-
All assigned homework must be completed on time
-
Families should encourage and model the practice of daily Salah.
-
Duas and Sunnahs should be practiced at their appropriate times (e.g., before eating, sleeping, entering/leaving the restroom).
Parent–School Communication
-
Parents are encouraged to maintain open communication with teachers and administration.
-
Concerns, constructive feedback, or suggestions can be shared respectfully with the school board
-
For urgent matters, please contact the principal’s office directly at the school phone or email.
Parent–School Partnership
At DarulArqam Academy, we believe parents and teachers are
partners working together to raise children who are strong in faith,
character, and knowledge. The following points outline how families
can support this shared mission:
